Welcome to the Trips and Visits page.

At Horndean Technology College we value to education and experiences that students gain from taking part in trips and visits just as much as their academic progress and subsequent examination results.

To this end the students are given a wealth of opportunities across all five year groups to take part in trips and visits across all subject areas.

At the beginning of each academic year parents will be sent a letter outlining all the activities that are open to their children in a particular year group. Along with this letter there is a medical information/consent form and trip consent form. Parents are asked to fill in the medical/consent form (year 7) or update it if any information has changed. They are also asked to read through the list of possible activities that their child could be involved in and sign the consent form. In this way parents do not have to fill in a medical form or consent form every time their child is taking part in an off-site activity.
