Horndean Technology College Parent Forum exists to enhance the well being and academic achievements of our students. It is made up of parents, grandparents, staff, governors and friends of Horndean Technology College.

Unlike most Parent Teacher Associations, we are not predominantly a fundraising body. The Parent Forum is more of a “sounding board” for new initiatives and current issues, providing a link in the communication chain between the College and parents and the opportunity to meet regularly with members of the College Leadership Team.

Of course, we do some fundraising, mainly through our annual Grand Draw and our tremendously successful May Ball each year. This enables us to support the College in providing “extras” like the Steel Pans and audio equipment, for example.  Membership of the Parent Forum not only allows parents to support the College, but provides an ideal opportunity to gain a better understanding of College life.  Meetings are held monthly, during term time in the College Library, dates for this year are published on the meetings page.
