Geography Introduction

Geography

If you thought Geography was just about maps & capital cities, well think again!

Geography is about our world and is part of everyday life:

  • Why do people live near volcanoes?
  • Is life always better in the city?
  • When will the next hurricane strike?
  • Why don't some people have enough food?
  • Why does Havant need a reservoir ?
  • Will the South Downs be made a National Park?
  • Why do people prefer the Dominican to Denmead?
  • What's wrong with McDonalds?
  • Who is to blame for global warming?
  • Why are they building more new houses?
  • Why are footballs made in Pakistan ?

Geography is exciting, modern, relevant, important, mysterious and necessary (and it's not just Mrs.West that thinks this!) check out these other Geographers...
